With a design heritage dating back to 1959, our centrifugal pumps are well proven in power generation, oil and gas, and industrial applications around the world.

For oil and gas in particular, we make a wide range of API 610/ISO13709-compliant units for hydrocarbon processing, refineries, fertilizers, water injection, and pipeline services. By leveraging our vast experience with refinery and petrochemical pumps, as well as the research and design practices applied to high-pressure sour gas centrifugal compressors, we’ve executed centrifugal pump projects in various upstream oil and gas applications with complex material requirements and extremely demanding pressure requirements.

Nuovo Pignone History

2017- Baker Hughes and GE Oil & Gas merge to creat a fully integrated oil and gas service company from the reservoir to the refined product.

1994- Nuovo Pignone sold to General Electric.

1954-1993 Renewed focus on producing equipment for oil, petrochemical, refinery and natural gas industries.

1954 Italy’s new state owned oil and gas group ENI bought Pignone and Nuovo Pignone was born.

1920-1953 Production of multistage machines for the chemical industry including the design and production of the first reciprocating compressor discharging up to 1000 bar.

1900-1920 Pignone produces machines to compress refrigerator cycle intermediate vapor and air compressors for mines

1856-1900 Military equipment such as torpedoes and missiles and agricultural equipment such as wine and oil presses, threshing machines, pumps and pasta machines.
